    Ken

    Social impact investor

    Ken brings to the team more than 16 years of experience in the private financial sector. Over the past seven years, Ken has made several social impact investments in the areas of climate change and poverty alleviation in Asia. He is passionate about developing innovative market-based solutions for social issues.

    Ken began his career as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs. He is a graduate of Balliol College at Oxford University and Johns Hopkins University.

    Toshi

    Start-up business booster

    Toshi is a serial entrepreneur with passion for social entrepreneurship and sharing economy. His professional experience ranges from a web brand-marketing executive to regional specialty food items promoter.

    Toshi began his career as a sales and marketing specialist at an Internet start-up. He is a graduate of Waseda University. Toshi believes in Mens sana in corpora sand (a healthy mind in a heathy body) and enjoys playing tennis, running and working out in his free time. He also likes doing wood craft work.

    Kazu

    Restaurant producer

    Upon graduating from the renowned Hattori Nutrition College in Tokyo in 2006, Chef Kazuhiko Tajima began his 7-year apprenticeship at two-star Michelin restaurants, Kappou-Hassun in Kyoto for 5 years and Kaiseki-Komuro for 2 years in Tokyo and mastered traditional Japanese “Kaiseki” cuisine. Soon after, he joined Hyakumi-an, one of seven top restaurants at Roppongi Hills Club in Tokyo.

    Beginning in 2014, he was hand-selected to be Chef for the Consulate-General of Japan in San Francisco, California. As part of a larger diplomatic mission, he has been responsible for preparing Kaiseki style meals and large banquets for local Bay Area leaders, as well as government and business VIPs from various countries.
